The Blog's of Elijah Lynn.

Whether you tell yourself you can or whether you tell yourself you cannot... you are always RIGHT!

My first Real Blog

I think I finally realized what blog's are actually for. Not just posting links of your favorite websites or interesting things that you have seen on the internet.

It is about your life. Sharing all of your experiences and feelings to anybody who wants to know, so they to can see another point of view.

So my first real journal entry is today... I am not much of an English person so my sentence may be fragmented and not correct but I really don't care as long as I can communicate to other people.

Life - I have been very interested in developing myself as a person and building a strong foundation for myself lately. I have been watching and listening to Wayne Dyer almost every single day for 2 weeks now. Tony Robbins fills in the gaps. We had a sales guy from the Tony Robbins group come over to our house the other day and he gave his schpeel and we ended up buying two tickets to the event coming up at Colorado Springs in March. I am looking forward to this event. More for life experience than gaining immediately then and there. personal Development is a HUGE HUGE HUGE thing that I need.

I have been contemplating writing a guide at the end of my life once I figure everything out similar to what Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra do. Mine would be more of a how to live type guide though. For example first you learn how to view life as not to waste energy on being mad or angry basically counter-productive, than when you get that foundation done you work on your memory, and learn the old techniques on how to remember everything and then you work on speed reading techniques such as eye Q, then work on organization techniques, then learning how to learn. This is in no way what I recommend, I have no clue yet what people should work on first. I still have to learn all of this stuff myself, my biggest one right now is not judging people. Wayne Dyer is helping me accomplish that goal. Ever since I was a teenager I was judging people, it is how are society raises us, there are people judging people all the time in news and in school etc.. So it is a hard habit to break, but i am doing it.

There was a story I read on one of the learning websites, it basically says in this story you have to put the big stones in first and then put all the small stuff in, (they were talking about filling a glass jar). I will post more details on this later.

When I used to see homeless people begging for money in the street, I would think to myself bad thoughts and that this is American and if anyone can get a job anywhere it is here and there is no excuse to not have a job, shit McDonalds is hiring every day, we have homeless shelters that give them food, they will just take my money and spend it on boos and drugs. I would never give them money but occasionally I would buy a box of hostess twinges and toss them out. I still feel that giving them money will not help them but maybe some healthy food such as an apple or orange is a great gift to them.

So. That is how I use to feel about homeless people begging for money, now I am starting to just wish them luck. They are still human beings and have feelings that are just as sensitive as yours and mine. Do I think that at the end of the day they just feel great to be alive, NO I don't they have addictions and sad stories just like the rest of us, they just got stuck there and need a way out. So as I am writing this I think I may buy a box of apples or oranges and pass them out as I drive around all-day (I am a locksmith and drive by the same people 2-3 times a week).

I just recently watched one of the most heartfelt shows I have ever seen on tv, it was titled "The boy whose skin fell off" It was on TLC. It is a story about a man named Johnny Kennedy whose skin fell off, I will go into more detail at a later date, but this guy was the happiest guy's I have seen and he was in a wheel chair and had scabs and wounds all over his body, basically anytime he bumped himself or whatever he would get a wound, he finally had gotten skin cancer from the skin reattaching itself so many times. He decided he wanted the world to know, he documented his last days with a TV camera crew video taping everything. They even went and picked out the casket on TV, he wanted a tiger and the Heinz baked beans logo carved on his casket. He has happiness that I envy, he sees the positive in everything. AMAZING! I will watch that show again and again and again, (I recorded it). If you watch one more show in your life let it be that one, you have to watch that show again it is called "The boy whose skin fell off" http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/boywhoseskinfelloff/boywhoseskinfelloff.html

Johnny Kennedy will live on and become a part of all who watch his story.
